Important 2016 dates:


  • February 24 - entry form and fee due 
  • February 26-27 - entries delivered to the Washburn Cultural Center (10am - 4pm)  
  • Thursday, March 3  from 5-7pm   - opening reception    
  • March 30 & 31 - artists should pick up work entered in the show (10am - 4 pm)

This exhibit invites works of art that connect

with the heritage of the Chequamegon Bay area

~ things or ideas influenced from the past ~


This can include physical artifacts from cultural heritage such as buildings, monuments or landscapes, special events, portraits of significant individuals, or works of art that depict intangibles such as traditions or languages. It can also reference our natural heritage such as geology, flora and fauna, or natural resources.

 

​The Washburn Heritage Association, the Ashland Historical Society, and the Bayfield Chamber of Commerce will each present $50 awards at the reception.


A People's Choice award will be announced at the end of the exhibit.
