Because of the challenges we are facing due to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), CBAC is extending the due date for submitting Artistic Development grant applications to May 1, 2020. We will also consider covering more than 50% of an artist’s proposal in order to support our arts community as best we can during these difficult and uncertain times.
The purpose of this grant is to promote ongoing learning and to encourage area residents to further their artistic abilities for reasons of personal growth and enhanced community artistic excellence.
Any professional, amateur or student artist residing in Ashland or Bayfield County is eligible to apply.

CBAC serves as a regranting organization for funds received through the Wisconsin Arts Board (WAB). The grant programs are funded by a $7,000 award from the WAB, which also requires a $7,000 local match before the organization distributes $14,000 to local artists and organizations through its annual grant process.
